Local Smoke Free Policy

In August 2009, the London City County passed a city-wide smoking ordinance that prohibited smoking in any building open to the public and within 25 feet of any public building entrance or exit. 

 

Dangers of Secondhand Smoke

The Laurel County Health Department provides educational information on the dangers of second-hand smoke.  The health department supports local and state-wide efforts for Clean Indoor Air Ordinances and Regulations.
